Christmas Memories

Since it is Christmas eve I decided that maybe our blog could use some Christmas memories. my memory is quite poor and probably not extremely humorous but I think the blog just needed some festivity

My first Christmas memory is Brent eating wrapping paper. And actually this isn't a real memory. I have only seen the movie of it but it still makes me laugh every time. another good highlight form this movie is me insisting on helping my mom open every single one of her presents.

My next Christmas memory Is a time when Christmas was on a Sunday. I got that really sweet cabbage patch horse with wiry hair... and then we had to go to church and this frustrated immensely.

My next one is really far from this one. It was the year everyone got a razor scooter except me. There was no snow and everyone including Brent and Eric was our riding their scooter around. I played on the pogo stick Brent got...

My next memory is the first year that Eric was on his mission. me and Brent both slept till 11 and my mom finally woke us both up because she was bored. heh

Obviously my memory is pretty bad... my next memory that is really clear is last year, at your house. and the misfortune of your mother watching only the bad parts of shes the man. and also that i finally go to see the insanity of your house on Christmas

Recurring memories include going to my grandma Freeman's for dinner and making candy canes. this I like an every year occurrence. Also going skiing on Christmas eve so your are dead tired and can go to sleep. Also ice skating before Christmas which got canceled this year... LAME

Report

Purchase report- Montana is really great because my mom will always buy me stuff. I have yet to figure out what makes Montana different from Utah in that area but unfailingly if I want some normal article of clothing in Montana I will end up with it. so the purchjases were some new sweats and a really awesome new hoodie.

Weather Report- the weather here is pretty dismal. No snow and pretty much freezing. All hail utah for being snowy at christmas time

Sporting report- Bowling is probabaly one of my least favorite games. yesterday i bowled a 45 my first game and a 59 my second. obviously I ought to go pro.

College report- I am pretty sure all of my credits transfer to UVSC which is excellent. Also I got some housing option advice. Go wolverines!

speaking of which I hope that our mascot is still alive...

Guide to Having Fun Edition 6: Being Charitible

The holidays are a time for caring. There are so many ways to show you care. There's those salvation army people ringing bells outside of stores, volunteering at a soup kitchen, or just saving Wolverine. Our sense of justice was offended when we saw this little mouse in the mouse bin at Petco and knew he would become food for a giant boa constrictor someday. No more! SAVED! Another good deed by Kelli and Sadie (much to the chagrin of Sadie's mom).

Guide to Having Fun Edition 5: Best Inventions

Here is a list of the best inventions ever made. In no particular order
  • Laser Tag- if you are ever bored and happen to have $20 you should definitley go pick some up. Hours of entertainment.
  • The Repeat Button- this is pretty much what our CD players live on since we always have a certain song we love and listen to over and over and over. Right now it's "Rockstar by Prima J"
  • Youtube- You can find the most hilarious things on here. Home made music videos are always good. Or you can just find really really weird stuff. Either way though youtube pretty much just rocks.
  • The blog- no explanation needed.
  • Instant Messaging- we love instant messaging. We IM way more than we ever talk on the phone or text. Plus Im has awesome stuff on it like notepads you can draw each other pictures, and you can play games, and send each other music... genius.
  • Web cams- These are pretty awesome especially in combination with IM because then you can see facial expressions or play charades with whoever you are IMing.
  • The video camera- for obvious reasons. I mean just watch youtube.

Nothing better.. then youtube..

Ok so I really like this song alot, so i was jsut like youtubing it and I came across this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6a3LGCTunQ So I watch it, (because i do love a good home made music video). No lie I laughed like the entire way through... from the part where he like falls to his knees at the begining onward... apparently the girl who posted it wrote and directed it. Its a preforming arts jr high they are at as well and the boy totally looks it. their lip syncing is hilarious. also check out those hot socks he wears...

Wah-La!

I still need to fix it a little, but I am sick of it right now. I'll post the improved version once I finally do it.

Ooh, Gift Baskets!

While my job is really boring and they apparently don't even know how to spell my name (Saidie?) they do give an awesome Christmas basket. Gourmet popcorn (I gave this to Sarah), Gourmet Chocolate dipped pretzels (Delicious), Some fancy food stuff that I probably won't eat, The Trans Siberian Orchestra CD (yeah I don't really care about this so I gave it to my Mom), and a $25 gift card to Target. So I guess really just the last part is awesome, but it is truly awesome! Gift cards are great because they are like an excellent excuse to waste money. You can't save it. You can't put it in the bank, and you aren't actually spending anything. So it's like begging to be wasted, and if we are good at anything we are good at wasting money at Target. I love Target (we both do, we spend a lot of time there for some reason).

Gift baskets remind me of Pocahontas.

Wiggins: Do you think we'll meet some savages?
Governor Ratcliffe: If we do, we shall be sure to give them a proper English greeting.
Wiggens: Ooh, gift baskets!

Acrostic poem

K- Keen
E- Exuberant
L- Lethal
L- Loquacious
I- Intense

I wa bored... so I made this... these are all words I have never used before when making one of these. heh

Finals week is like a bad idea because it mostly makes you want to just sit around and do borish stuff like write acrostic poems, when really you ought to be studying:D

Guide to Having Fun Edition 4:Ugly Clothes Game

Well, it's time for the world to know about the Ugly Clothes Game. Probably one of the best games ever invented, and since we mentioned it a couple of times in here we thought we'd make it the joint effort of the week. Enjoy!

How to Play The Ugly Clothes Game
by Sadie and Kelli

This game takes at least 3 people, but is better with more. Basically each player is assigned another player and they go out and try to find the ugliest clothes possible. Then everyone has to try on the clothes given to them by the other player. Everyone comes out wearing hideous clothes, laughing ensues, and whoever chooses the worst outfit wins and gets to pick who they want to choose clothes for next.

Helpful Hints and Tips:
Department Stores work best (bigger dressing rooms/more ugly clothes)
Always browse the clearance racks
Mix patterns and colors you usually wouldn't
Don't be afraid to venture into the Granny Section

**Warning:
May get kicked out of JC Penny's if the dressing room is small.**

HOME ALONe

Ok, I don't know how I'm going to get through this. I have tears streaking down my face. OH MAN! So Carson called my Dad last night because he wanted to ask Sarah to the dance while we were at church today. Sarah ended up getting a headache and having to stay home from church. So we are coming home from church, and we see two police men walking up our driveway and two police cars parked on the curb. Immediately I knew exactly what happened, and just started laughing wildly. They probably thought I was a maniac. But oh man! It's just too funny! So I guess Sarah's in her room trying to sleep away the headache, and she heard them setting up on the porch, and they weren't exactly trying to be quiet thinking no one was home, and at the same time she can hear Jordan walking around downstairs, and she didn't know he had stayed home from church. So she is like freaking out and she called 911 to report that someone was breaking in to our house. So then the police like knock on the door "This is the Police," and then they see Jordan dressed in his pajamas.... Oh wait. You live here? Oh. Right...... The best part is that I totally called it when my Mom said Sarah was staying home. Oh man! CLASSIC! And we thought the bears was good. Obviously we had no idea.

It's begining to look a lot like christmas

So when i got the christmas quilt picture it set me off thinking of the random things I think about when i think about christmas.... heres a few

-Your dad falling down the stairs and trying to save him self on the thumb tacked up quilt
-Your mom having us watch pat a pan. and she always says the same thing but i dont remember what is now
-Your mom only seeing the most unfortunate part of movies
-Ice skating with your ward. insert comment about jordan being a figure skater. that should have been in his star profile.
-Eric and brent hurdling over our couch in the living room because it is flipped the other way.
-Zachary Playing the same ridiculous christmas song over and over until everyone in the house wants to break the piano
- You and sarah singing that sister song
- Sydnie going through the toy catalogs and wanting everything
-Jordan your dad and rhett playing dance dance that one year
-Your mom always demanding that the TV go back downstairs but it always takes like 2 weeks for it to actually go.
-Annihilating your dad at wave race.
-Drinking like 4 cups of hot chocolate a day

** you know what annoys me? people who put wreaths on their cars...

Guilty pleasure-be as... that song just makes me laugh

A Guide to Bad Fashion in the Horse World

Lately we have been noticing that horse gear is kind of high fashion. So today I was looking at the horse catalog websites in my favorites and I found some great fashion for our next riding adventure.

What guide to bad fashion in the horse world would be complete with out the formidable overly sparkly slinky? This one reminds me of "fruity pebbles." And really this was just on the first page. I'm sure if I would have kept looking I could have found an even uglier one, slinky makers love cheetah print. Remember spending hours and hours looking for decent one?

OK so obviously breaches are never very attractive, but that's not even the worst part. First of all these are apparently "low rise" breeches. So you know.... totally in style, but what else can we do to make these even cooler... hmmm... well aren't 80's coming back? Leg warmers it is! Oh wait.... just pink knee high tights, and weird ankle boots... ankle boots are in.
Keep that pesky sun from your eyes, with these sierraclubish/cartoonish/plasticy sun visors!

This is my favorite. I mean like a helmet isn't totally nerdy enough. And then you add the sequined cover (Are you also being haunted by memories of the purple helmet cover girl with the fake plastered on smile from all the horse shows?) Then since it's winter you add this great little warming/bank robbery thing. If I was into wasting money I would totally buy you one of these for Christmas.

Guide to Having Fun Edition 3: Let It Snow, Let it Reindeer

Much to our delight Last night it snowed! YEAH!!! In honor of this great event we decided a post about the awesome stuff you can do in the snow was in order...

How to Have an Awesome Time in the Snow
by: Sadie & Kell

1. Horseback riding in the snow
-Suggestion: Go bareback its warmer
- Play the mitten game
+How to play: You'll need two Players for this game, Each player will ride to opposite ends Of the Field. One will be holding the mitten (we prefer to use a pixie glove) and the other will be the catcher. Make sure you decide ahead of time which hand you will use. Right means you will be riding past on each others right sides and left hand left sides, we play right handed. both riders turn after reaching their end of the field. The mitten holder the hand holding the mitten triumphantly in the air when they are ready. The catcher lifts their receiving hand in the air to show they are ready. Both riders drop their hands and urge their horses to lope, making sure they are still on the correct side. As the riders pass each other the mitten holder reaches out and so does the catcher. The goal is to have the mitten end up in the catchers hand. You count each successful pass in a row and try to break your own or someone else's records.
-Tubing behind the horses can be a good time if you are careful.

2. Go sledding
- This may seem childish but sledding is ALWAYS fun. Race, do tricks, if you are Kelli's little brother sled off the church roof.
-Tow a sled behind a four wheeler if you have one, and a good field to do it in.

3. Have a snowball fight
- Boys throw harder, but they are probably more fun to play with.

4. Build a snowman
-It's best if you can make this snowman look like someone specific.

5. Make snow angels

6. If you can find a good place you can go penguin sliding. Any place flat and icy will work out nicely.

All I Want For Christmas is a Waxxing Kit

We got our Christmas tree yesterday, and today I went Christmas shopping. Definitely a fantastic activity. It just puts you in the Christmasy mood! I love people that are easy to shop for. I.E. Sydnie. She wants everything. Bad example: you. I always have the hardest time figuring out what to get you! So on this little shopping excursion I went to the local Barnes and Noble, and I saw an interesting thing.... it was a lady with a mustache. And I don't mean some wispy little hairs... it was a SERIOUS mustache.

Guilty Pleasure: Romeo: Basement Jaxx
Obsession: Starlight: Muse

HAPPY WEEKEND!!!!

P.S. You forgot "mucho love" You always tell me you hate that.

Words and pharses Annoy me

Toodles will take the prize as numero uno. Nothing is annoying like someone saying tootles or Toodleoo. Who Even invented that??

Saying Human or humongous or that kindof of word with out the H. Uman, Umongous it just seems ridiculous.

That rubber and glue saying from elementary. It bugged me then and it bugs me now I don't really know why. but really I'm like Rubber your like glue? there is nothing great about being rubber, and besides that means if you were like "wow you look really cute today!" and the other person was "rubber" they couldn't even have the compliment.

Oy vey! is next... I say exclaim in english if you have to exclaim

People who say don't got. In Jr high, kids said this all the time and I just never understood why. I don't got no pencil!

Guilty pleasure- Thant hannah montana song. See you again. how annoying I hate it when i like really annoying music

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

Guide to Having Fun Edition 2: Super Shoppers

Well today has been a long day. Mostly because we woke up so early. As you all should know it is BLACK FRIDAY! So we up and waiting in line in the freezing cold at Target. The people around us thought we were totally insane, because we don't actually go to get something. We just like to watch people be crazy. Like people who need a cart DESPERATELY because they have SO much stuff, but of course you can maneuver yourself a lot better with out one. Or the people who the people who just run around yelling things like "B 45! B 45! Aisle 2!" Also it's the only time of the year that people are allowed to shove you and not say sorry. So in honor of this lovely holiday here is a guide to having fun in stores/shopping centers.

How to Have Fun While Shopping
by: Sadie and Kell
  • Three words: Shopping Cart Racing
  • Hide and Go seek (especially if it's unplanned)
  • The toy section. Enough said.
  • Looking at all the weird things (i.e. Zac Efron pillowcases) and then imagining the people who have them.
  • If there is clothing: Ugly Clothes Game (look forward to learning more about this in a future "Guide to Having Fun" post.)
  • Have them page random people on the intercom
  • Sample Day
  • Testing nail polish (might not want to do this at Claires)
  • Take random crazy pictures (not recommended at the mall)
  • Run up the down escalators, if no one is watching.

Random fact about Black Friday: It's called "Black Friday" because it puts retailers in "the black."

Christmas is in the Air

YAHOO! Can't wait for tomorrow man! I'm in a wild mood, because I am SOOOO excited. Me+You+Empty House. = Loud music, running around, grocery sack sliding in the living room, jumping on couches, and tons of sugar intake. Can't WAIT! It's going to be freaking amazing. So also. I have been listening to Christmas music all day today, and I am in the best holiday mood ever! Don't you just love the holidays? They are fantastic! I totally can not wait for December, and snow, and sledding, and shopping. Wahoo! Christmas time is awesome. I think I actually like the build up to Christmas better than actual Christmas, because it's like before Christmas everyone just walks around with a smile on their face, and you got to see lights go up, you get to shop for everyone and just imagine their reaction, and there is still that anticipation. Everyone is just so happy! I love it. Another excellent thing about Christmas is that giant stocking joke. I need to go get me a new one sometime soon. heh! As great as Christmas music is though.... it does have it's downfalls

Top Three Annoying Christmas Songs
  1. Homeless
  2. Santa Baby
  3. Christmas Shoes

Even with that though... Christmas just rocks! And hopefully I can run to the store and get me a giant stocking and some Tiki Punch after work today. Wish me luck! Have an excellent time at your cabin with your fam!

Guide to Having Fun Edition 1: Slumber Party Girls

So we are having this awesome sleepover and we decided that we would have this weekly joint post that shares with you our ideas for living life to the fullest. Heh! So here it is! Edition #1

HOW TO HAVE AN AWESOME SLEEPOVER
by Kell and Sadie

1. Being hyper is the most important thing when having a sleepover. This can be achieved a number of ways. One way would be to drink lots of Tiki Punch which in ACT language would be: Gasoline is to car as Tiki Punch is to awesome sleepover. Putting extra sugar in your Kool-aid (double should do it). Jumping on the couch or bed (this always works).

2. Staying up late is another must (Being hyper will help with this).

3. Listening to crazy music. Crazy music can be almost anything, but here are some prime examples just to get you started:

4. Play MASH to all hours of the night. This is more fun with paper and pen, because then you can add categories that are funnier i.e. wedding ring, honeymoon, wedding colors, etc. but you can do it online too, and also this counts for you which is faster http://www.playmash.com/

5. Talking about really pointless things especially if it is really late and you are tired. (This sort of just happens on it's own)

For an Optimist I'm pretty Pessimistic

"Almost 96% of people marry their high school sweethearts. Because you opened this you will get kissed on Friday. By the person you love or like! & tomorrow will be the best day of your life. Do not break this chain! Repost this as "High School Couples" You got 2 minutes this is not a fake...apparently... copy and paste this to as many ppl in the next 10 minutes and you WILL have the best day of ur life 2morow. You're number one will either KISS, ask u out, or call u. if u break this chain the little girl from the ring will be in ur room 2 nite!!!no send back!"

That was an e-mail I got from Elyse. I object. 96 percent?!? Yeah right. So out of that 96% how many get divorced? I'm betting 99.99999999%

Obsession: BOYS LIKE GIRLS (Hero/Herorine and Five Minutes to Midnight)

P.S. My msn email WORKS!!!!

Thursday, November 15, 2007

I'm Runnin and Screaming

So today I wore my Boys Like Girls shirt, I go to work, and walk into the second grade classroom and they are in the middle of like a little class math activity, one kids turns around and really loudly says "BOYS LIKE GIRLS! GROSS!!!!" and then of course the whole class just like busts up laughing. and the poor substitute didn't even know what to do. heh elementary substitutes were so cool

All day I have been just like randomly breaking into boys like girls songs, and like as loud as i would have at home, like the top of my lungs. apparently I have no shame. My roomates think I am really weird:D

this is the best part of this post you will love it.... SO i am driving to work today, Jammin out you know to boys like girls of course, SO i am listening to hero heroine. and I am just like thinking...' this song is so weird, what does heroin have to do with being a hero, that is so weird' and then I was wondering why a band would be talking about doing heroin, nobody admits that... after mulling this over oh you know pretty much all day it finally occurred to me that he was talking about a heroine not heroin. needless to say it was very confusing

I am still like wired from that concert OH MAN!!! that was so fun, and it was hilarious when we were dancing around the gas station. Obviously we should repeat that experience, we can just choose some random parking lot. and right now boys like girls makes me way hyper. heh I accept your decree for another Sleepover we will be hilarious

obsession: anything Boys like girls particularly broken man, Also general concert stuff

Dance hall drug

(apparently justin forgot to take it.)

Heels Over Head for Concerts

Well that was pretty much AWESOME! We are totally going to more concerts from this point on. So I am like spilling over with energy still, I keep jumping, and then I get really weird looks which I suppose makes sense.

Highlights of the Night:
  • Us looking for Justin and Tyler and Justin totally saw us, and just made fun of us. Like wouldn't normal people wave or stand up so we could see them better?
  • People cheering really loud when Jerrytown said it was their last song. It would totally suck to be an opening band.
  • Ryan Peek, who hates you, being two rows down from us, and also behaving like the maniac that he is.
  • Us jumping and screaming and just generally being wild and crazy, Tyler dancing, Dustin shaking his head around, and Justin standing there with his hands in his pockets the whole time.
  • Justin's brother wanting a picture of Sarah so he can make fun of her for thinking he had a mullet.
  • Watching all those girls freak out whenever the lead singer threw his empty water bottle out to the crowd.
  • Justin making fun of those girls by screaming really high pitched. I'm serious, I wish you had been standing by him so you could have heard it, because it was hilarious.
  • The fact that the main singer's name is "Martin"
  • Tyler not being able to handle the bright lights, because he'd just had his eyes dilated.
  • The main guy, Martin (heh), totally looking like a panda.
  • The entire band's pants.... haha what the heck!
  • Us at the gas station afterwards.... people think we are crazy (and most likely we are).

Obsession: BOYS LIKE GIRLS (mostly "Heels Over Head" still)

STAR WARS

Today In the student Center there were all these signs from all of these high schools that are in either Utah or Idaho. I was just studying geography map quizzes etc when suddenly all these high school kids start pouring in. I thought it was a debate, mr sumner was there but i didn't recognize any one else. any ways all of a sudden this kid just sits down by me and like you don't sit on the cushion right next to someone, you sit at least one away and more is better. So I gave like the side glance to see if they were like looking at me and then when back to my homework, he shifts again and I can tell he is looking at my screen. i was like way freaked out. I mean what kindof random person just sits down next to you and does that. then they were like what are you doing? So I like turn to look at them and it is kyle saunders! I was way surprised I totally wouldn't even look at him when I didn't know who he was. then this starwars music was blasting and it was like WELCOME TO STARWARS and i was like "whoa this is a starwars contest?" and he was like "no way, I should be in this" but really it was just an academic decathlon. so we watched it for a while then he left, then I left.
my question is this. why is it called starwars? are they saying these kids are like super stars or something? because to me it seemed like maybe it should be called that because those kids all looked like starwars fanatics. good story huh?

Also.. I find this extremely humorous

You Would Prefer "The Darker the Berry, the Sweeter the Juice"?

White mom: Which kitty is your favorite?
Little girl holding book of baby animals: The black one!
Mom: The black one? He sure is a cute kitty.
Little girl, loudly: Once you go black, you never go back!
Passing thug, flashing her a thumbs-up: Word!
White mom: I don't care what your father says, we are so moving to Westchester

Mall Madness

Well today I took a fabulous trip to the mall and here are some of the interesting things I saw

  • A man at the mattress store who was just laying on one of the beds playing the guitar. (This reminded me of that one totally random teacher that would just stand outside his class room and sing and play the guitar. Who the heck was he anyways?)
  • Santa Claus (Wow! That time already I guess...)
  • A security guard trip and fall

Now here are some of my Mall Memories

  • Kicked Up Lemonade gumballs. Seriously how much money would we have saved if we never bought one of these? Lots most likely, but you know what? We would have missed out on a great experience. (btw I ate one today for old times sake)
  • When JC Penny was cool, and now it sucks
  • When me, you, and Elyse would just buy the same shirts all the time
  • The ugly clothes game CLASSIC
  • Getting kicked our of JC Penny on the last day of 8th grade for playing the ugly clothes game.... also classic
  • Me leaving my cowgirl up hoodie in the dressing room of Vanity (still one of my greatest regrets in life)
  • That time I like threw myself onto a very soft look bed, and then it turned out to be like super hard, and not a mattress at all.

Also, it's Hundreds Day! 100 posts and 100 hits! And 100 comment..... oh wait... 6 then.

Shirts and skins

Today I was noticing the colors people were wearing and decided that sometimes I judge people based on the color they are wearing, becuase when I picture people I picture them wearing a certain color and so I decided to link that to their personalities.

So here it is the break down: the color of shirt, the description of what I guess the person in the shirt is and the people that helped me make these assumptions

Pink shirts- A bit dramatic, smart, perfect people
-Sarah, Jenni adams

Green shirts (boys)- hyper, crazy, random, funny
-Tyler, Brent’s good side

Green shirt (Girls)- crazy, maybe fake, not that smart
- Elyse, Amanda Johnson

Red shirts- Like boys green shirts except for girls
-me and you

Brown shirts- a little crazy, sometimes moody or hard to read
- Christeen, Chantelle, Jessica Frisby

Purple Shirts- driven and dramatic
-Nicole, Kayla

Blue shirts- quiet, shy, but funny
- Terry, Eric, Justin

Yellow shirts- happy, nice
-Annie love, lindsi

WHOOO HOOO concert tomorrow anyone?? YES

Sleepover Secrets

Well Kelli start learning that 2nd language! Also I don't know if you have tried the Kool-aid version of otter pops, but just know they come highly recommended. And Kool-aid reminds me of our first sleepover so this post is going to be dedicated to Sleepover Memories
  • The time we made Kool-aid with double the sugar required. Possibly more.
  • Playing MASH all hours into the night
  • The Sedimentary Rock Ring
  • "Yeah because everyone has a miniature pool in their backyard."
  • The bobby pin who owes you a life debt
  • How crazy we were the time we got to have a sleepover during school
  • Going to the football game that night, and then realising that you didn't have to go home
  • "People are crazy." "Yeah, good thing we're not." "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
  • Staying up till like 3:00 in the morning and then going on a river run at 5:30, and not being tired at all.
  • "Those people just tipped their canoe!"
  • Us wanting Elyse and Demi's sleeping bag spot, and them refusing to trade us, and then they ended up getting all wet.
  • The blinding light of your cell phone a.k.a. "The Sun"
  • The dance party in the morning when we slept over at Lyse's
  • Taking forever on the Quiet Book
  • "Fly on the wall" "If I was invisible"
  • Going to Walmart at like 1:00 in the morning to get Lime Rickey Ice Cream,, and being totally freaked out by the scary people there.
  • Talking forever and ever and near the end totally not making sense

Anyways if you can think of anymore tell me. And I propose another sleepover this weekend! This week basically rocks mostly because you are coming home TOMORROW and we are going to a concert, and then you'll go home, and we will have only ONE more day until it's the weekend! YEE-HAW!

Guilty Pleasure: Three guesses... :D

http://www.todolistblog.com/ This blog is somewhat boring right now as they apparently just released a book about it or something, but I like the idea of it.

We go to the park and swing more than any other college kids I think
We ride horses
We are the same, but not
We have a dedicated readership (Rhett)
We play more board games than almost anyone
We have long memories and many inside jokes
There aren't actually words invented to describe us
We embrace our guilty pleasures
We never fight
We laugh more than normal people
We get obsessed with stuff and that is awesome
We waste time productively (i.e. this blog, this list, and our many paint drawings)
We invent lines that can only be crossed by us
We own "shared" items
We are up for almost anything
We invented the mitten game
We are going to Arizona!

If only.....

If only..... we had been smart
If only..... it was the weekend EVERY day
If only..... this didn't cost 35.00

FANatical

So the Jazz game last night was pretty dang awesome. It was an INTENSE game. They were tied 101 to 101 with like 7 seconds left and then Darren Williams saved the day. Jordan insists that I will someday be one of the crazy fans who yells at the Refs and goes to every game. This is not the case. I did not yell at the refs once, not even when they called a foul on Milsak when it was very obviously a block. There were many people who did. I found someone to replace the old lady in hilarity though! Although he is not as funny since he is not old. Someday he will be. And I bet he will still be there. Here he is...

He stayed standing the ENTIRE game. And he was REALLY in to. I love fans like this. They are hilarious to watch, and they like go crazy when they start giving out free stuff like t-shirts and stuff. Or when they do "fan watch" with the jumbotron screen. And they scream like little school girls. It's awesome.

Save us College Kids

So I was doing some research on colleges and I stumbled upon this little number...

http://encarta.msn.com/college_article_partyheartyschools/that_party_the_heartiest.html

unfortunatly the closest one to us is California... huuuu GREAT... way to be a huge downer college. pfff whooo hoooo only like... 2 days till the weekend yeah ya! and when tyler was on drugs he really wanted to hangout with us. we will see about when he is a little more normal. :D

you know what else is lame? Elyse not having a deep love and respect for facebook. hello we would hardly have to do any work at all if she did.

More things that are lame

whens stores don't have self checkout
when its not the weekend
when skate/long boarders just like almost run into you
when everyone is studying except you and so you are way bored
when your food goes bad before you finish it

LKF- If I don't eat the crust or edge of something first then I don't eat it. I will like throw cookie edges away for some reason...

Obsession... pretty much everything I guess... all of those stated on the below list most of which would qualify for guilty pleasures too

FATM

so today was fast sunday... and testimony meeting... woot. anyways I usually find these highly entertaining during the primary part and getting more and more dull as time goes on (I know mature) anyways. So this apparently was a very teenage friendly meeting alot of the priests and laurels get up. SO then Craig Ezell apparently decides e wants to go up so he starts walking up and his mom like has her head in her hand ect. So he like put his hand on the banister like he is going to go up the stairs... and then promptly heads for the exit. it was exceedingly humourus. So after a little while this beehive gets up, and she was like. I was really nervous about yesterday... and not because I had a recitle. but becuase it was the one year anniversery of my cats death, and my cat was like my life... but now I know that it is in a better place and probably watching over me and she went on and on and on about it. I was like dying my mom like forced my head down so people couldnt see me laughing. heh

Kyle has dropped another teir on elyses myspace. he is below us now...

P.S. I joined some rad facebook groups. heh

P.S.S. I started to put comments on some youtube songs hahahaha

Obsesssion is back

Guess what, we are not alone! Today I was purchasing my BONUS JONAS (!!!!!)on amazon and I was reading the reviews and some 18 year old gave it 5 stars.
All I have to say is wow! I am a HUGE JB fan and this completed my JB
collection..for now anyway. The second I got it, the 2 new songs went
straight onto my ipod and the dvd went into my DVD player. I LOVE the music
videos especially S.O.S and the concert was sooo good! These boys are one of
the most talented groups to come up in a long time. There music is upbeat
and inspirational. They combine positive messages with guitar and drums and
do it beautifully. Nick's voice is just off the charts and Kevin's guitar
talent is in more then I can put into words. Joe's energy on stage will keep
you jumping and wanting more. Coming from an 18 year old, you need to BUY
this! believe me, you won't regret it!

Some of my Favorites:
Little boy to mail woman: FedEx is better than you!

Man, slamming on hood of taxi inching forward: Hey! I'm walkin' here! [Turns to people behind him] Where's that from?Lady passerby: Midnight Cowboy!

Pharmacist: You should probably re-sign your card.
Woman: Why?
Pharmacist: Well, you signed over the magnetic strip. You're supposed to sign over the white part down here.
Woman: Then how would the machine read my signature? That doesn't make any sense.
Pharmacist: No, it's a magnetic strip. It reads the information, not the signature.
Woman: I don't think you know what you're talking about. That's not how the machines work. You're a pharmacist, not an electrician.

Guilty Pleasure: Jonas Brothers (What else?!)

P.S. Happy day before weekend day! YAHOO!

obsessed

So now I am in love with that stupid yet hilarious new york thing and I jsut laughed for like 5 minuted about this one... imagin the akwardity...

Guy #1: Okay, so this news I have to tell you...
Guy #2: Yeah...
Guy #1: You're the first one I'm telling, so don't mention this to anyone yet -- I wanna be the one to break the news to everyone. It's big. And I don't want this to change anything between us or the guys -- I'm still the same James*. But it just feels right... I feel like it's time.
Guy #2, looking very uncomfortable: Uh, dude...
Guy #1: I know, you're gonna tell me I'm crazy. But I've actually been thinking about it for a long time [pulls velvet box out of jacket and opens it to reveal huge diamond ring].
Guy #2: Whoa, bro...
Guy #1: Dude... I'm gonna ask Danielle to marry me.
Guy #2: Oh, oh my gosh. Dude, that's awesome -- that's really great! Wonderful! I'm so happy for you!
Guy #1, accepting huge hug from
guy #2: Wow, dude, you're really happy about this.
Guy #2: Bro, you have no idea what I thought you were gonna say.
--Park bench, Central Park

Overheard by: Highlight of my day

that would totally be the highlight of my day... like hands down no matter what else happened

ALso I like the ones where random people join the conversation

Girl #1, about raffia ribbon: But the other place is like a dollar for three yards, so even if I don't want a hundred yards, I'd probably buy ten of those, so it would be ten dollars plus shipping, meaning I'd spend about the same but only have thirty yards instead of a hundred. So even though I don't need that many yards, I'd rather buy the hundred-yard spool just because it's so much better a deal. But who needs a hundred yards of raffia ribbon?!
Girl #2: Is there anything else you can do with it?
Random guy: There's so much you can do with raffia ribbon! You can wrap presents, do scrapbooking...! There are a million things!

heh heh I wish I could be the random person to say stuff like that

This is halloween everybody make a scene

Costumes I have seen today

Santa- I hate this one and i ahve seen it in between every class
Scarecrow- some random old lady walking around campus
Hippie- some girl and she and barefeet... that would be so cold
Jack sparrow- some girl... why do girls always be him?
snow white queen- black hood and all she looked quite foolish but at least she is festive
Creepy nerd- I was like afraid of him
Ken doll- IDK if this was actually a costume, but this guy was as much or more barbie then that kid from our school make up and all. aHHH
Kiss guy- IDK what the motivation for this was ... CREEPY

right now I am in the TSC and it is USU idol with kurt bestor. some people are just so wierd I say... and there are these wierd people who want to be famous are here singing like wierdos. whoa and this crazy good 11 year old just sang.

Guilty Pleasure- Jonas brothers.... probaba;y until I have listened to that CD to many times to count.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
WAHOO! Happy Halloween. Don't you just love holidays? There are only two lame things about this one, and that is that we can't hang out (we always do stuff on Halloween together) and that I have to work pretty much all day in no man's land. :D Oh well. I'm over it, and this Tiara I am sporting is JAMMIN'! Can't wait to go home and cut up some pumpkin! YEAH-YA!

Confession:
I like that new Dashboard Confessional song "Thick as Thieves"

Some funny things:
The fact that Jordan has to drive around in my truck with the "If it's not an Arabian It's not a horse sticker" on it.
The fact that Derek asks for Halloween off every year.
The fact that our little countdown thing is cutting into the rest of the blog. We are totally awesome with this html stuff aren't we?
Seeing people drive around in their costumes. For some reason it's funnier to see people in costume when they are driving a car.

Guilty Pleasure: ♥ JONAS BROTHERS ♥

Lagoon Day

Well today was pretty eventful. Wicked is pretty good as long as you are judging by Lagoon standards. And I saw some really great stuff like a man that REALLY did look like George Clooney.

Also I was just walking by, and I saw this guy sleeping on a bench, and I was like what the heck? I mean he can't be a bum it's not like Lagoon is a cheap place to be. Apparently he was just a little tired so he was like oh perfect a bench in a crowded amusement park!

So this is why I asked you if Chantelle was still alive. Apparently she's been dead for a while. We did not even get invited to the funeral. What the heck!

Apparently Huckle is really lucky, because not only did he find this beautiful pink bat, he also found one of those giant stuffed snakes, and a quarter. The snakes name is "The Snake" but you have to say it a certain way or it just doesn't work.

Also when you are at a large public place you can overhear some pretty hilarious things.

Kid:
I want to go on WICKED!
Teen Girl: Your not tall enough.
Kid: What about Piranha?
Teen Girl: I don't know what that is
Kid: A SNAKE!
Teen Girl: I thought Piranhas were fish.
Kid: Pf! No!

Random creepy punk girl: Me and my friend take showers together all the time! Like save the planet you know? I mean like it's not enough that we already are wasting water for a shower when people need it to drink and stuff.

Lincoln: Hey! Look I found a quarter!
Huckle: AWESOME! You could feed the ducks.
Lincoln: Who cares about ducks? I'm throwing it in the lake!

Further Proof I Should Never Seek to be a Ballerina: So we are waiting in line for the Haunted House, and while we are waiting we decide to just go through the totally lame outdoor one that you just walk through. It's for like 10 year olds. Like seriously lame. So anyways we go in there, and there is this creepy wolf guy in there, and Madelyn is way freaked out by him so he is just following us everywhere. She's like seriously clinging on to me like crazy, and he keeps getting right up to my face so finally I'm like, "Ok Madelyn, we can see the ending so lets just run." So I start to run, and of course the guy starts chasing us, and then when we are like right at the exit he accidentally trips me, and I just totally SLAM down on the cement. Like way hard! And then he trips on me and falls so it's like this heap of Wolfman and me. And in front of a ton of people too, because we were right at the exit, and there is just this like collective gasp, and then I'm up in like a split second. Seriously I got up so fast, and then I just start walking away, before the kid has even started to get up. And before anyone even had time to say anything to me. It must have looked hilarious. Some old girl comes running out of the pre-teen spook ally like a maniac and then just totally falls on her face. Yeah that would be me. And I now have a really cool purple bruise on my whole right cheek, one on my hip bone, and a huge one on my knee. Awesome I know.

Update: The Wolfman was seen exiting the park on crutches. Whoops... Just call me Sadie the Werewolf Slayer from now on....

whooo hoooo

I just found out I don't work tomorrow! this is fabulous, because it means i will be able to purchase bonus Jonas in the morning:D Yeah yeah! there is just something good about this week... maybe its because the last one was so unkind. but this weekend is going to ROCK. is Tyler going to be back from Cali or is it going to be you, j-cat,and me? heh we are going to get him so good... and I get off early! yeah!!! do you work Friday? that will be lame if you do but really nothing can dampen these spirits!! aye yi yi! heh did you try to hug an ugly at lagoon again? that was so funny last time haha! today in sociology we had show and tell and my teachers kids brought there chihuahua. I always forget how much I hate them till I see them again. eww. but one girl brought her sugar glider and it was awesome. I want one of those. and a hedge hog. they could be Friends.

I was jsut listening to wall to wall and had a thought. there should be a CD of all the songs we do specific dances to. suggestions?

Guilty pleasure: 7:05

Another Late Night

I don't really know why I stay up so late... we watched a movie called unbreakable. idk if you ahve ever seen it but it is really wierd and I dont reccomend it. in fact I wold probabaly say that I hated it. hmmmm. right now I am like one of those nerdy computer kids... I am sitting at my desk at nearly one oclock in the morning editing soud files for ringtones. I am pretty sure I am the lamest kid ever. but everyone else is asleep and I am really bored. and not that tired. I took a really long nap today. huuu I should not have volunteerd for the howl my friend I really feel like coming home. Mari and steve made dinner today and that was good times, also chantelle brought her grandma over, i guess they were in idaho or something i dont really know. Faith says her mom can be really indimidating sometimes. this is a statement I agree with. I had to hide a package that chantelle got so her mom wouldnt see it which I think is pretty humorous. ok sorry this is a really boring post. but I thought I should post something today and so I did

Obsession: Big Casino

L.K.F.: I like the taste of those square batteries when you put them on your toung

Party Time

Well Sarah's party is about to start, and I just thought I'd get on here, and you know just tell you whats going on. So they have a bonfire outside, and my Dad set up all these lawn chairs and hay bales for them to sit on, and a toilet. Yes a toilet. This is another one of my Dad's ill fated jokes (there are many). Anyways he thought it would be hilarious. Sarah thought it was the most embarrassing thing on the planet, and so it was moved. Shame really. Now I am being sent off to get 3 dozen donuts. Yay. More updates to come.

Update: This has nothing to do with the party but is hilarious none the less. Sarah just totally fell down the stairs. Like from the top step, and I was there to see it. I love it when that happens. Then she went downstairs, and she was like "I just fell down the stairs!" and my Mom just said all nonchalantly, "Oh. I thought that was Sadie again."

Update: Well the guest are just arriving. I had a nice little reunion with Chelsea (who is basically the coolest person invited). Ah Chelsea. She's hilarious. And as soon as I get word Joey is here me and my purse are out of here! Although I was talking to Derek earlier, and we did think it would be fun to scare them. No idea if we actually will though. :D

More Updates: Well we've handed the scaring business over to Zachary and Brett. They are hiding in the trees as we speak. I am being sent out with a note for Joesph that says "Girls rule Boys are LAME!!!" from Sydnie.

Update: Well somehow I got roped into the scaring thing, and Joesph was in on it too. So there I was in my black cords, grey button up, and the black sequin flip flops crawling in a muddy pipe. Nice huh. I eventually took off my shoes, because they got all wet and I kept tripping causing Joey to offer me his arm too many times (this kid is way too polite) so I just took them off and then I could actually run a lot faster you know. Then at the end I accidentally stepped on a Russian Thorn Tree branch and the thorn went all the way up my foot. I didn't actually notice it much though. Well I felt it go in and I pulled it out, and I could tell it was bleeding, but it didn't really hurt. Only today it is, and it feels really weird because I can even feel the inside part of my foot that it went up.

Update: Next bit of drama Zach lost my Mom cell phone somewhere out in the field. (We were using them to communicate with each other when we had to spilt off in to twos.) Then the kids went on the hay ride, and Joey actually staid back to help look for it, and expressed a wish to be away from the girls. So for one night at least he was cool, and he didn't even mention stealing my purse until the very end (sort of stopped the miracle a little). We did not find it.

CMM (Classic Munchi Moment): The horses were all pretty freaked out by all the people so they were like running back and forth non stop so my Dad's like "why don't you throw them some more food to distract them." So I do and Jokkar just keeps running and I'm like "oh come on. It has to tempt Munchi at least!" but then he makes as if he is going to keep running to, and I'm like "WHAT!?!" and then he just stops dead. Runs back grabs a bunch of hay in his mouth and then keeps running.

Just a little side note: We have the annual Family Halloween party today and so Zach was all "I know a costume that will the scare the pants off of everyone!" "I'll be you!" So now he is parading around in that one black sundress. Yeah embarrassing I know.

I am bored too

This post will probably not be that great since I don't actually know what I am going to say in it. That was really funny last night. "So... did I call you or did you call me?" "Well I called you, because you told me to." "No I didn't" "Uh yes, actually you did." Still not used to the new celly phone huh? It is officially D-Day. Sarah's Party. Luckily I am planning to not be home during this. Me and my purse will be long gone and out of sight. Running as far away from her "so called boyfriend Joesph" as I can get! Hey maybe I'll just pick me up some of those Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers tickets. They're in Salt Lake tonight. http://cgi.ebay.com/2-HANNAH-MONTANA-CONCERT-TICKETS-UTAH-OCT-27-SECTION-1_W0QQitemZ130165303118QQihZ003QQcategoryZ16122QQcmdZViewItem You know right after I buy that "It's About Time" CD.

Guilty Pleasure: S.O.S. - Jonas Brothers (you know in prep for that concert tonight)

Little Known Fact: For a long time I thought Ciara and Missy Elliot were the same person, although I have no idea why. Just know that the line "shake it like Jell-o" takes on a whole new meaning when you are as confused as I was.

Stuff

I think it must be world wide pajama day. I saw like 4 people in pajamas at Jaumba Juice. That sort of thing is normal at like Walmart but not really other places. I remember those days. Sometimes I just really miss elementary school. I mean recess! Recess was awesome. Your right. That Jimmy Eat World song is totally addicting. Now I will probably end up buying it.

Things that are funny:
The fact that Santana looks way different than I always imagined him.
Colby's new haircut. It reminds me of the army. Which made me wonder is he in the ROTC?
The scary bald guy in Lifehouse thanking Michelle Branch.
The boy who works at Jaumba Juice's hair cut. I'm serious it's hilarious. You'll have to see it.
That blog you posted. That teacher is hilarious.

P.S. Can't wait for next weekend which will be double fabulous. :D

I'm bored

And since I am bored I am going to post even though I did like three times yesterday...

So the new phone... Its hardish for me to text on but I am sure it will get better. I accidently put the wrong number in for brent and some wierdo guy called me because I had to send out one of those I changed my phone number texts. whoops. I really hate having a new phone number in case you were wondering its one of my pet peeves

Today was Pajama Day at the elementary, I wore my pajamas to work. It ROCKED this school is so many times better then us... I am so jealous, they also get to dress up for halloween but I wont be there on that day. which is unfortunate indeed

Yesterday I had to take Chantelle to Brigham City to be picked up becuase apparently she is deathly ill. nothing sucks like being halfway home so close to the weekend and not being able to go home. PSH a small part of me was like geeze I should just drive all the way home:D

Today's numbers

1- the number of packages chantelle recived
3- the number of twin pops I have eaten
7- number of times I have walked into the kitchen hoping that something new and interesting would be in there and been dissapointed
14- the number of texts I got imediatly following sending a text saying my number changed
25- the number of times I have listened to Big Casino by jimmy eat world since I bought it at like 2. I highly reccomend it

Current Events

News:
Last night the Jazz won 102 to 81 against the Lakers (remember the first time we went to a Jazz game? Against the Kings, and we threw ice at those Kings fans that were sitting on the Jazz side. Hilarious.)
Elyse is now feeling "numb" heh
My work place is the world title holder for "Ugliest Halloween Decorations on Record." I'm serious. Look it up.
My friend Nicole Crossley is engaged. I think? Her myspace post about it was confusing, and if you read it you would probably want to die. Otherwise I would forward it to you and ask you what you thought. Lucky for you I care about your well being.
That one new Steve Carell Movie me, you, and Maddie wanted to see comes out in like 2 days.
5 days! YAHOO!

Guilty Pleasure: Halfway Round the World- A*Teens

P.S. I like alcalized best I think.

B 11

In apartment B11 we are really cool...

we have a few made up words, we are considering making a dictionary

Alcalized- Having alcohol in it
example- isn't wassile alcalized?
Pronunciation- Al Ka Lie zd

That one is mine. the next two are Faiths

Persuint-pursuing and persistent combined and make
Example- "kelli boys who want to date you will have to be very persuint"
Pronunciation- Per Sue int
actually pursuant is a word but it means agreeing with something and I like this better

Genuity- the personality trait of being genuine
Example- "she Lacks genuity"
Pronunciation- Gen oo it ee

Cool stuff we do:
  • Since they ceased to invite us to FHE whenever they have it we jump around our apartment
  • we watch out our window at night with all the lights off and yell to the people in the parking lot

I realize this seems quite boring but alot of things are entertaining at midnight

Guilty pleasure- the youtube videos of the JB I have Seen a ridiculous amount of them

5 days!! woooo HOOOOOO *dances*

Just some random post

I actually have yet to decide what this blog post is about, I just decided I would write one... I am sure it Will be random.
Today I visited some of the blogs of note. There is one called the "blog" of "unnecessary" quotation marks, this turned out to be quite humorous. I do believe that Given the chance, us and this person would be good friends, Read at least some of them they are funny. This led me to wonder how people are chosen for Blogs of note.. I wonder if its like, the Number of comments you recieve, or like site traffic... anyways, we have only one comment and pretty low site traffic. lame. people should read and comment then send their friends. then we would be famouse
At the elementary school where I Work it was Crazy hair day, I remember crazy hairday fondly, I am sure my mother remembers it not as fondly. I am sure it was a pain to attempt whatever wild scheme I dreamed up and then a pain to comb it out after the day was done. I also remember when we weren.t allowed to have them anymore, obviously this school is so much cooler then ours because they still get to do fun things like pajama day and dress up on halloween and stuff
Last night Mari was trying to trick people with the transformers things but then she couldnt anymore becuase it was after 9. so then she went to this site http://www.shockinghumor.com/soundboards/3087/Dr_Phil_Soundboard
And started calling people. some people would just like hang up but faiths brother talked for like 15 minutes. it was pretty funny.

Also as you well know I waste exrtreme amounts of time on really pointless stuff today my poinless time wasters...

Stumbling upon this-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN2XUhH8W70
and from there to this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRTR7qrr4Fc .... I waste less time then this person
and this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtnUH1D_JXs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wd5BgJHXxvk - this one is funny like way funny...hes like jumping around like a wild man, and then "oh my gosh nick you are SO HOT!... you'll seem obsessed watching it. but i reccomend doing it anyways

you know... we may be a little obsessed... but these people are alot obsessed. and these are just the ones i bothered to watch

also I think that if we knew the jonas brothers we would be tight with them.

Guilty pleasure: Who said by hannah montana or apparently the jonas brothers

Quote of the day: "The light at the end of tunnle has been turned off due to budget problems" heh, someone turned off our lie for two weeks. jerk.:D

Little known Fact: I really like to wear my hoodie hoods and i would do it like all the time but I feel like a retard. also It cuts down my perhephrial vision

moral really is practically at an all time low... knowing that I cant come home is ruining my life:D
